Lap of Luxury

Chris and I celebrated our anniversary by a very memorable night staying(once again!) at the Hotel Park City. Dinner at Ruth's Chris, a relaxable evening in our private Jacuzzi, and a movie that Chris let me pick [:)]. Soooo worth it! It's amazing what a little spoiling can do for yourself and your relationship!

3rd Anniversary

Chris and I were married 3 years ago today.

This is around the first time we went out.

He moved to California for a year with a job opportunity. This is when I went and visited him over New Years. It was the time I realized this man was someone that I loved and was going to spend my life with. After dating a while... we had this amazing Valentines Day and decided it was time for us to get married! Here is one of our engagement pictures.

This is my Favorite photo of our wedding day. Some more recent photos. I am glad I was finally able to take Chris snowboarding AND he actually enjoyed it!

Why I absolutely adore him:

He makes me laugh every day.

I love his green eyes and his very kissable full lips!

He makes up funny nicknames for everything! Our cats don't even know their real names. They only know their nicknames.

His laugh is infectious. I can be in a completely different room doing a separate activity and he'll start to laugh and I just bust up.

He is sensitive to my feelings (I am very sensitive and tend to cry over things fairly easily)

He is great at computers and even figured out how I could make my own ring tones on my iPhone!

He is playful, always tickling me and chasing me around the house

He is incredibly smart, and once he sets his mind to something, very determined.

He loves kids, especially his little nephew.

He tells me he loves me multiples times a day.

Love you honey! Here's to 3 years and the rest of Eternity!

"I'm a Cowboy....

On a steel horse I ride
I am wanted (wanted...)
Dead or Alive"... Bon Jovi

I made the mistake of turning the television to the Discovery Channel during a "Deadliest Catch" marathon. Now I can't get this song out of my head.

They really should ban show marathon's from cable television. I always get sucked in for hours!

I Bought a Dyson

Well, after about two years of wanting a Dyson vacuum and having it on my checklist of big purchases that I want to buy some day... I finally coaxed Chris into letting me get one. (Somehow that usually ends up happening :)!)

I have wanted one after hearing rave reviews from people I work with and people online. My vacuum was OK, but the filter has to be replaced like every time I use it. I am always manually picking the dust and hair out of the filter to make it last just a little longer.

I found a great deal online at Macy's because I guess they are discontinuing this Dyson model:
It is a DC 18 Dyson Slim. When I first started looking at them I wanted this model because it is smaller and compact so it is easier to store in our limited condo storage area's. It also has a lifetime WASHABLE filter so I don't have to worry about buying lots of filters and making them last just a little longer. I was way excited when I found the deal and kept telling Chris about it until he finally said, "I'll be mad if you don't get one!" So I ordered it. It came in 2 days! (Even though I just ordered it under "regular" shipping.)
I have never been so excited to vacuum in my life! It was easy to assemble and after we put it together, I vacuumed just my front room (about 300 square feet). And I PROMISE I had vacuumed just the week before, but I still got these results:

Little did I know that we had a 3rd cat living in our carpet this whole time! (Sorry if you are totally grossed out!) It picked up so much hair that I had no idea was trapped in my carpet! There was dirt, but it was mostly hair!

Needless to say... I love my purchase! Totally worth it.

(You know your getting old when you get THIS excited about a vacuum!!)

A Little Break

I have been in a real funk recently. It has something to do with my life full of work stress's, family stuff, and some of my own personal things I've been dealing with that I have taken a break from life for a few days/weeks (if you haven't noticed).

A much needed break.

By chance, coincidence, or pure luck... I had five days off work which I think the Lord new I needed. It has helped me in more ways than I could have imagined.

So sorry if you have been missing me. I just needed a break from things. But now I feel better. Refreshed and renewed.

Waaaaay too Much Time

Some people have Waaaaay too much time,

If I had that much free time, I think I would find something more productive and meaningful to do.
