Max's Stats (a little late)

So, Working full time, taking care of a baby, a husband, and a house hold is very time consuming. So I apologize for the lack of posts.

We took Max for his 4 month appointment 1 week late, because I was a procrastinator in making it. He never ceases to amaze me how big he actually is. He was:

19 lb's 12 oz
28 inches long

He is in the 99%ile for Height and Weight and his head circumference is in the 96%ile.

He is a big kid.

He has now grown out of his infant car seat. FOUR freaking months is all I got. Some people use theirs until their child is a year or more. So we had to purchase a new one to accommodate his size. And don't worry. This next on he can't grow out of until he is 100 lb's. Hopefully he doesn't reach that by the time he is 8. But it still has to be rear facing until he is 1. And it is HUGE! I don't even know if I am going to be able to see over it to my back window.

He wears size 6-12 month clothes. Mostly 12 month stuff, but the onesies can stretch a little. This is very perplexing because I LOVE feety PJ's, but they rarely make any after size "9 months". So I can't find any that will fit him and still give him a little room to grow. Every night after his bath I have a ritual of stretching out his feety pajama's so he can wear them still. We let him wear just a onsie one night because it is so hot, but he kicks off all his blankets, and when Chris got him the next morning he said his legs were like icicles. :( So he needs the feetsie pajama's!!

He has grown out of his bouncer, but he LOVES it and I have no other place for him to really sit. So he sits in it every day and watches Baby Einstein and coos and laughs at it. He kicks his left leg repeatedly to bounce it. Once it stops bouncing, his leg is going again.

Almost as soon as I lay him on his back, he rolls over to his tummy. But he still hasn't learned to roll back onto his back. So he sits on his tummy for awhile, and when he is done he screams and cries. I have tried practicing with him so he can learn the motion of rolling from tummy to back, but he still hasn't caught on.

He still has the "flux" (Reflux) and spits multiple times a day. If we don't have a bib on him then wet clothes result. I get puked on at least once a day. And we are just about to start solids, so it is going to be even more fun when it is strained peas and summer squash.

Max is a WATER BABY! He loves the water. He loves baths and he loves swimming. And I can't resist buying cute swim suits. I think he has 4 now. So we need to get good use out of them.

We went swimming to day at Chris's Mom's house.

Max had lots of fun playing with us. He giggles so much more know and it is so fun! I love spending my time with him!

We just bought him a high chair because it is time for him to start solid foods. So here he is trying it out. And pardon the puke, the bib came off because it was shortly before bath time, and then of course he puked everywhere while I was putting the high chair together. But once I look at that face, I don't mind in the least!
