I'm Not June Cleaver....

So I decided to do this Photo Tag inspired by my new bloggy friend RamSam. While her house was very clean (even though she didn't think so), mine is just not. But I do sort of have an excuse here... I work full time (and just did 3 nights in a row) so that my husband can go to school. Since we are both busy, sometimes housework gets placed on the back burner.

I guess the rules go something like this. Take a picture of these things in your house without cleaning or altering them in anyway. As is, baby! As is. So here is my house as it is...

I don't technically have a "room" it is a laundry closet that holds only enough space for a stackable washer, a small shelf, and maybe a broom and a mop. Oh the joys of condo living!

For the record... I did do dishes last night and cleaned up the sink. However, Chris was channeling his inner Rocco Dispirito and made teriyaki chicken and rice for lunch. Hence all the dishes in my sink. I can't keep up with the mess!

7 random and weird things about me.

1. I think I have posted this before, but I can't eat food that doesn't look right. If there is a weird black speck on fries, or a shriveled up green bean, I can't eat it. It goes in the garbage pile on my plate. I have had one of those since I was 6. Also I am a texture person.

2. I love salt. Salt and Vinegar potato chips and french fries are my weakness. I like sweets, but would probably pick a salty snack over them any day. And this is a problem because I think I am pre-hypertensive!

3. I used to scrapbook, but have taken up blogging as my new hobby and it takes a lot of my free time!

4. I sorta feel like the end of the world/second coming might be coming soon. With the way the economy is, the war, and all the many natural disasters. I am scared! I feel like we will never be prepared enough if something big hits! So I am with you on this one Nicole.

5. I don't think I manage my stress very well. This isn't good because I have a very stressful job! I feel physical effects of stress nearly every time I work.

6. I talk to Chris in a baby voice sometimes. He doesn't mind it. He thinks it is cute. But if I accidentally do it in front of anyone else... they feel like vomiting!

7. I wear disposable contact lens's. I am not always faithful at changing them out exactly every month. So it always surprises me how much better I can see when I replace them. Then I re-commit to replacing them exactly every month, but it never happens. Sort of like New Years Resolutions.

Mash Game: Predict Your Future at eSPIN-the-Bottle

So I totally used to play MASH all the time with people well into Jr. High. Thanks to Nicole I got to play again and re-live all the memories. It was a favorite past time in Class and/or Sunday school. I remember we had a rule that you at least had to put one bad thing in each categorie so that you wouldn't always get everything you wanted. U-Unknown fact about me? I can't eat anything that doesn't look right. Like the black ends on french fries. I can't do it. I rarely ever clean a plate... I always have a little garbage pile of things that didn't look quite right. I know it is lame, but true.
V-Vegetable? Green beans (only the fresh kind) or Edamame
W-Worst habit? I bite my nails, but it goes in phases of severity. I am doing good right now...my reward is if I don't bite them by the end of the week I am going to get a manicure with my pedicure!
X-Xray or Ultrasound? Umm kinda depends on what you are looking at/for, huge difference. Whoever made this up probably couldn't think of anything else for X. How about X-mas or Thanksgiving? But probably 98% of people would say Christmas.
