Best Steak Ever!

Ok. So I never have been a huge beef lover. Growing up, when my mom would ask us if we would rather have chicken or beef, the anwer would always be chicken. But in the past few years I seem to enjoy it more. Maybe it is because my husband is such a huge steak fan, or maybe it is because for the first couple of years that I lived on my own, my protein intake consisted of milk on the cereal I ate for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Or the occasional scrambled egg. But, last night my sister-in-law took us to Spencer's Stake House for Chris's birthday. It is located in the Hyatt in down town Salt Lake. The waiter comes out and gives us this big long spill of how the meat is prepared, how long it ages, how the cow's are only corn fed, and a whole bunch of other stuff to make it sound like it came from the cow elite. So we ordered our pricey steaks and sides. When it came out, it was just on a plate and didn't look like anything super special. But then I took that first bite and wow! It was cooked perfectly (medium well) and the most tender and juicy piece of meat I have ever tasted. I couldn't believe it. I am still thinking about it a day later. They said they don't do any advertising that all their business is word of mouth. Well, I can see why business is good because here I am on my blog talking about the most delicious steak I have ever had!

Yeah Lisa, you have a blog!

I just found it. I'm sneaky like that.

Hoping to see you soon, sis. Are you still thinking about coming up to Alaska for a visit this summer? It is beautiful up here, especially in July, when it's not cold, and not hot.
