I have really been getting in the "Fall mood" this week. Maybe it is inspired by my hike last week. Maybe it was the slight decrease in temperature after the storm this past weekend. The weather is gorgeous, the air seems more crisp, and I can smell the scent of Fall in the air. *I think that spring and fall have distinctive scents. But then again, I am notorious for having a super sensitive nose when it comes to scents. But there is nothing like the scent of Fall.
I am not one to own a lot of crap for every holiday. I don't have anything related to Valentines, Fourth of July, St. Patricks, etc. I don't even own an Easter Basket anymore. However, Fall and Christmas seem to inspire me to have a few decorations around the house. So yesterday I busted out my fall Wreath and put it on my door. I also put this lovely arrangement on our table. Thanks to Ikea and their inexpensive orange and black candles. I also lit an old candle I had that smells like pumpkin spice. Mmmmm.
It sure has helped my cleaning/laundry day to go by a little bit better! Hooray for Fall!

i am one of those people who have decor/crap for every holiday! its a genetic defect. my mom has the same problem. however, it decreases with aging..so i have noticed.
Hm, you may be too crafty for me. (Yes, I am ridiculously bad at crafts). I love the decorations though - they are so cute!
We are so the same! I don't own ANY decorations for holidays but starting this year- actually last weekend- I have put some "fall-y" things up!!!

That's where I'm gettin' my inspiration from! It's AMAZING! But of course expensive so I'm finding cheaper versions.

I totally agree about spring and fall having distinct smells. I'm not much for decorating though. Now I can use the excuse that my kids will ruin anything I put out, but the truth is, I didn't do much to decorate even before I had kids.

I LOVE the fall decor and your house looks like it is so cute. Love the table- mine is so old I painted over it and a corner is missing from when my husband accidentally cut it while cutting trim.
